The Six Frames Every Cosmetic Case Needs
Most cosmetic practices already have excellent dentistry sitting in their patient records — it just never becomes content. The bottleneck is almost never skill. It is that nobody decided, in advance, exactly which photographs get taken on every case.
When the shot list is decided once and fixed forever, photography stops being a creative task and becomes a checklist. A checklist is something an assistant can run in 90 seconds, between appointments, with the same result every time.
The six frames: a full-face smile at rest, a full-face smile, a retracted frontal view, retracted left and right lateral views, and a close-up of the treated teeth. Same light, same background, same camera settings — every single case.
Why does consistency matter more than artistry? Because your content system downstream depends on it. A before/after Reel only works when the before and after are framed identically. A scoreboard only tells you the truth when every case is captured the same way.
Fix the shot list, and you never again finish a beautiful case with nothing to show for it.
